La Ligue contre le cancer - Comité de la Vienne is a non-profit organization, recognized as a public utility, committed to the fight against cancer in all its forms. Present throughout the country, it acts locally thanks to a network of volunteers, professionals and supportive partners. Its main missions are to help sufferers and their families, support medical research, and promote prevention and screening. In the Vienne region, the committee is developing a wide range of local initiatives, including wellness workshops, psychological support, occasional financial assistance, school visits and public information campaigns. Financially independent, the League relies essentially on the generosity of the public and its donors. It embodies an active and human solidarity, serving the same objective: to drive back cancer and improve the quality of life of those affected.This structure has not yet entered its presentation.
