TAP – Scène nationale de Grand Poitiers

The TAP – Grand Poitiers National Theater fulfills three public service missions: 1. Producing and presenting contemporary and multidisciplinary performing arts (60 shows programmed per season across all disciplines, 125 performances, 50,000 attendees per year) 2. Democratizing culture and building audiences (300 outreach initiatives related to the programming, 11,000 people reached, attainment of the “Tourisme & Handicap” label by 2025) 3. Encouraging and supporting contemporary creation and assisting local artists in their creative and performance activities (200 days per year of space made available to artistic teams. But the TAP is also… A three-screen “art house” cinema, the TAP Cinéma, certified “Research & Discovery,” “Heritage & Repertoire,” “Young Audiences,” and “15–25 Years Old,” and a member of the Europa Cinemas network, which attracts 100,000 admissions per year. Two festivals: the Festival À Corps, centered on the body and its contemporary representations, and the Poitiers Film Festival, dedicated to student films and emerging international cinema, complemented by two highlights: Vagabondages and D’une oreille à l’autre.
